The S9 has a lot of features I’m still trying to decipher. Not quite sure yet about battery life, because my S7 Prime held the charge much longer with regular use. A couple of screen scratches, expected.
UPDATE: Great phone, very light signs of wear, battery life is good.

At first, the Samsung Galaxy S9 was performing great. It still is after owning it for almost a month. The problem is that I was not able to answer any incoming calls. I thought, what’s the point of having a cellphone if it can’t do the most basic thing after much research, I discovered that you need to install the virtual assistant which needs to stay on the screen. Somewhat annoying because it’s always in the way even though it’s movable. Problem solved! Another issue is that the phone freezes on occasion, which is a concern for a brand new phone. Will have to look into this. Lastly, the icons sometimes disappear from the home screen and you may not even be aware of it at first. Simply search the icon and it’ll pop up and then you can place it wherever you wish. Another disturbance is that the rounded edges make it difficult to type any letterrs situated there resulting in having to tap the letter several times before it finally appears. Other than these issues (so far), this is a great little phone with a long lasting battery.
